I am Stéphane Revel, 41 years old, architect of information systems
and former student of ESIEE-Paris.
I used to work at AR Systèmes, a French value-added reseller of Sun Microsystems and
Hitachi Data Systems,
and then in a mission in Luxembourg
for several years at the European Commission.
After that I became Director of Operations for Learch (POST group, now Victor Buck Services),
a company providing digital legal archiving as a service. I have had the responsibility to design the technical platform from scratch,
setup an operations team, and obtain the ISO 27001 certification.
In 2014, I became Head of IT for eProseed, an international integrator of Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions.
I am currently Lead Architect at the General-Directorate for IT of the European Commission, heading an IT Service Design department of 65 people as part of a mission for Sopra Steria Luxembourg.
On a more personal note, I am passionate about wines and continuously learning in this area. In 2019, I earned the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits.
